Consumo de metanfetamina y salud mental adolescente:un análisis bibliométrico de tendencias globales y redes de colaboración (2010- 2025)

Resumen

La investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar la evolución, estructura y tendencias de la producción científica global sobre consumo de metanfetamina [EC3.1]y salud mental en adolescentes desde 2010 hasta 2025, a fin de mapear el campo e identificar vacíos de conocimiento. Para ello, se ejecutó un análisis bibliométrico descriptivo de 819 documentos indexados en Scopus y PubMed, empleando el paquete Bibliometrix en RStudio para evaluar métricas de productividad, impacto citacional, redes de coautoría, cocitación y coocurrencia de palabras clave para el mapeo temático. Los resultados evidenciaron un crecimiento exponencial de la literatura (7,01 % [EC4.1]anual), intensificado en el período 2020-2025 (10,3 %), con una marcada concentración geográfica: Estados Unidos contribuyó con el 48 % de la producción, seguido de Reino Unido, Australia y Canadá, mientras que la participación de países de ingresos bajos y medios fue marginal[EC5.1] (< 5 %). La colaboración internacional fue limitada (19,9 % de los documentos). El análisis de contenido reveló cinco clústeres temáticos consolidados, destacándose la emergencia de líneas de investigación en epigenética, neuroinflamación y determinantes sociales estructurales. En conclusión, el campo muestra una rápida expansión con creciente sofisticación temática, pero persisten asimetrías geográficas significativas y una escasez de estudios longitudinales e interventivos. Se requieren esfuerzos concertados para promover la investigación colaborativa e interdisciplinaria, y fortalecer las capacidades investigativas en las regiones actualmente subrepresentadas, orientando la agenda hacia la evaluación de intervenciones y políticas públicas efectivas
